Since it was presented for the first time in 2020, the innovative design of the Codecasa Jet has garnered a lot of attention. The yacht concept, created by Fulvio Codecasa, founder of the Codecasa Shipyard, breaks with traditional Italian naval architecture.
As can be gleaned by the name, the design is inspired by aviation, reinterpreted for boating. The Codecasa Jet 2020, with its soft and compact layout, is very airplane-like. Even the forward section, thanks to its rounded shape, is similar to the pilot’s cabin in a classic airplane.

The yacht has recently be revamped, through close partnership between Fulvio Codecasa and one of the most famous names in international boating design, the architect, Tommaso Spadolini.
Working together for years, Codecasa and Spadolini made few, yet substantial changes to the exterior, and the distribution of the interior layout, with a new owner’s suite. This is located aft and is on two levels, guaranteeing maximum comfort and extreme privacy.
A SMALL VERSION OF THE CODECASA JET
The Viareggio-based shipyard believed strongly in the new Codecasa Jet design, as did Tommaso Spadolini who eagerly came on board. From here came the idea of building a little sister to the original yacht. This is the Codecasa Jet 50, a 49.9 metre overall vessel, with a gross tonnage below 500 tonnes.
The design is currently in the technical outfitting phase. The new Codecasa Jet, like all the vessels made by the shipyard, will stand out for it high quality standards, which have made the Codecasa brand famous around the world. The yacht will be certified by the principal international and national organisations, and will be equipped with the latest technology available on the market, so the the discovery of new horizons takes place in absolute safety.

I am sorry but that must truly be the ugliest thing I ever saw as far as its bow and front section go (which are I presume precisely what their designer considers so ‘revolutionary’ himself). He is employed in the wrong bracket. He should go into designing airplanes, as (or rather, on) an airplane it would look totally acceptable and in fact not out of the ordinary!
