The “Vava II”, a 96 metre motor yacht certainly does not go unobserved. We saw it docked in the port of Barcelona.

Vava II was built by Devonport in the United Kingdom and launched in 2012. The superyacht’s beam is 17.3 metres, its draught is 4.8 metres and it has a tonnage of 3,933 GT. The exterior of the Vava II was curated by RWD, while the interior was by Rémi Tessier The superyacht can hold up to 22 passengers, welcomed by a crew of 34.

Vava II has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. It has two MTU engines, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 15 knots. When it is time to refuel, the Vava II can hold up to 523 thousand litres of fuel.

The Vava II belongs to Ernesto Bertarelli, entrepreneur and sailor, as well as patron of the Alinghi, one of the America’s Cup teams. Before its launch, the Vava II went by the name Project-55. After its launch the Vava II was registered in George Town,  Cayman Islands.
