In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Baglietto presented its latest creation, the Dom 115, a 35-metre entry-level yacht belonging to the popular Dom range, which has seen the sale of 8 vessels over the past two years.

During a meeting with the sales teams from the North American brokerage houses at the Yacht Club, Lauderdale Marina, the CCO for Baglietto, Fabio Ermetto, spoke in depth about the characteristics of the new model of the Dom range, whose exterior has been once again designed by Stefano Vafiadis.

“We decided to create this design – says Fabio Ermetto – to follow up on the many requests from clients who appreciated the strong points of the Dom 133, but were looking for a smaller yacht. This new model perfectly responds to market needs, allowing us to step into the superyacht segment, with a product with singular characteristics and steel and aluminium construction.”

BAGLIETTO’S UNIQUE STYLE

The base concept does not change; the Dom 115 has the same, unique style that led to the success of their best-selling model: a modern and charming design that is both timeless and extremely sporty, considerable space, singular for a vessel of this size, and the use of large panoramic windows opening out to the terrace, allowing for a flood of natural light.

In particular, this model creates an even more harmonious single space, with a continuing dialogue between the interior and exterior, thanks to the sliding doors leading from the saloon to the main deck which, when added to the full-height windows, creates a 270-degree view, just like the upper deck, which is completely glassed in, and can be opened up on three sides.

ORGANISING THE SPACE

The organisation of the space is reinterpreted, losing its classic and formal arrangement and replacing it with a new space, closer to the lifestyle of a contemporary, modern owner, who desires closer contact with nature and the water. The aft area becomes the ideal space, over three levels that gradually lead down to the water, which is also where the pool is located, looking out over the ocean. The tender is stored in a lateral garage, leaving the deck uncluttered.

This vessel also has an extremely high level of customisation available, which is one of the reasons for the success of its larger sister ship, thanks to choosing to use steel and aluminium as construction material – this provides increased flexibility for the many requests for custom layout (which was also one of the reasons for the success of the 133), as well as representing added value for comfort in a vessel of this size.

It is powered by MAN engines, allowing the yacht to reach speeds of 14.5 knots. A hybrid version has also been designed. The first Dom115s are currently available, with delivery planned for May 2025.
