We saw the superyacht, Seanna, moored in the port of Genova. Seanna has three decks, is 65 metres long and was designed and built by Benetti. Delivered in 2011, it was refitted in 2021.
Seanna has a steel hull built following Lloyds classification and an aluminium superstructure that combines the classic Benetti style with the clean cut lines of a modern yacht. The design and styling of the interior is by Redman White Dixon and Susan Young.
The sun deck has a jacuzzi pool raised in the back, in addition to a bar and lounge to the bow, and a large open space for deck chairs to the stern. The upper aft deck is spacious with an impressive teak dining table for 14 people as a central element, a bar and various seating areas in the lounge.
A LIBRARY AND CINEMA ON THE SEANNA
The interior can accommodate up to 14 people in eight cabins. The main saloon turns into a cinema and also has a separate TV room near the formal dining room. There is also a library on the main deck and a massage room with two private beds.
The skylounge above is an elegant lounge bar. Continuing on to the main deck, the owner’s suite includes two full bathrooms, a separate studio and private living room. There is also a VIP cabin on the upper deck and another five – three double and two twin – below.
The main tender is a StanCraft motorboat in wood, 8.5 metres long with an inboard engine of 350 HP and elegant classic lines, but it also has a 7.5 metre Nouvrania dinghy, and plenty equipment for water sports including a pair of Yamaha WaveRunners.
The two diesel Caterpillar 3516B engines, with a combined power of 4.522 HP, allow the vessel to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15, and a maximum autonomy of five thousand nautical miles at12 knots. It is also equipped with two pairs of Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
