There are only a few days before the opening ceremony for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023. The event, which traditionally kicks off the boat show season, will take place, like every year, in the charming bay of Cannes, from Tuesday 12 to Sunday 16 September. Participation in this iteration is expected to be very high: around 54,000 visitors are expected, who will find a variety of vessels from 5 to 50 metres, both on land and in the water.

In total, there will be around 700 vessels, divided by type, sail or motor, single or multi hull, rigid or semi rigid, etc.

EXHIBITION AREAS

Organised over two ports, Vieux Port and Port Canto, the Cannes Yachting Festival stretches from one end to the other of the Croisette. Vieux Port is one of the oldest ports in the Cote d’Azur and every year it showcases beautiful boats presented by some of the most important shipyards from around the world.

Port Canto, the second and newer port in the city, is home to the sailing area. At the heart of the Sailing Area, is also the “Start-Up Village”, an area dedicated to “intelligent” start-ups offering innovative technology and services for the boating industry.

New for this year is the Small boat area, a floating space dedicated to motorboats between 8 and 11 metres long. Located inside the Vieux Port, near the dinghies, it benefits from an accessible pier.
