Azimut premiered the Magellano 60 at Cannes, the crossover that embodies the adventurous spirit
The popular Magellano range, which has caught the attention of adventure-loving owners over the years, has now expanded. At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, Azimut presented the Magellano 60, an 18-metre crossover which perfectly brings together its soul as an explorer with pleasant navigation, thanks to the efficiency of the Dual Mode hull.
This model, with its generous space and elegant shape, is quite probably the embodiment of the essence of this range. The designer, Ken Freivokh gave the yacht a more contemporary touch, without renouncing the timeless elegance of the Magellano family. During the Show, Daily Nautica went on board and are happy to show you around this fantastic vessel.
INFINITY TERRACE AND DUAL MODE HULL
This model is part of the brand’s crossover range, with certain characteristics, like increased volume, that help improve comfort during navigation. The yacht has a longitudinal extension of the ample cockpit, conceived as an “Infinity Terrace” perfect for admiring the view and staying in close contact with the water. The table, in this area, can be lifted, transforming the terrace into a comfortable dining area.
The crossover nature of the Magellano 60 can also be seen in its high efficiency Dual Mode semi-planing hull, allowing the boat to navigate comfortably at low speeds and to handle more sustained speeds reducing the impact of the waves, consumption and emissions.
INTERIOR: COMFORT AND ENDLESS CHARM
An ample full height window envelops the interior dining area in light and breathtaking views. The table, with its square shape is extremely flexible: it can be regulated in height and width, and can seat up to six people. Also in the main saloon is a well-equipped kitchen and a large relaxation area.
The layout of the lower deck includes 3 cabins and one for the crew. The owner’s suite, to the bow, is, like the other rooms, welcoming and warm. The decor is carefully selected and curated: from natural rattan decorating the furniture, to the soft cannette fabric over the headboard.
