The DOM133 range, designed by Stefano Vafiadis, continues to be very successful. A few months ago, Baglietto launched their fourth vessel named the M/Y “Lee”. This is a 41-metre displacement megayacht with hull and superstructure in aluminium, following the shipyard’s tradition.

During the Monaco Yacht Show, Daily Nautica visited this splendid vessel together with Luca Ghirlanda, Chief Operations Officer for Baglietto.

ON BOARD THE M/Y LEE

Perfect for transoceanic cruising, this 41 metre vessel stands out for its reduced draught of 2.15 metres, and for its modern and captivating design, making it perfect for navigating in shallow waters. With its 8.70-metre width, the yacht has very generous interior spaces and original solutions to increase its connection with the water.

It has all been designed to create a continual flow between the exterior and interior. For example, the main saloon has full-height panoramic windows, which, once opened, create a natural extension of the aft cockpit in this area. Another element worthy of mention is the beach club, the ‘distinctive trait’ of all of Baglietto’s vessels, on two levels – the sun deck and main deck. Both decks have a magnificent infinity pool with lifting base, making the cockpit even larger.

The M/Y Lee – explained Luca Ghirlanda to Daily Nautica – is a yacht in a fantastic relationship with the water. Even when at full load, the vessel maintains excellent performance. The M/Y Lee has a cruising speed of 17 knots.”

INTERIOR AND ENGINES

The vessel layout has 4 passenger cabins, 2 twins and two double guests. The owner’s suite is located in the forward main deck. The interior is also by Vafiadis Studio, who curated each and every detail, down to colour choice, ranging from light to dark colours, all reminiscent of the ocean.

The M/Y Lee is equipped with two Caterpillar C32 engines and a hybrid system. In full electric mode it can reach a maximum speed of 6.5 knots, in hybrid 9 knots, while using just the engine it can reach 17 knots.
