The Frauscher 1212 Ghost is the name of the latest from the Austrian shipyard Frauscher, that has created a model of style and character.
The Frauscher 1212 Ghost is 39 feet long (11.90 metres) and is the latest in their vast range, which is also available in Italy thanks to the importer, Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli, that, from the Brescia side of Lake Garda brings to our country the elegance, technology and performance of a shipyard that unites luxury and performance.
The new Frauscher 1212 Ghost with be shown to the public during the next edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival. An eagerly-awaited preview will be offered by Frauscher Italia (Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli) in Gargnano sul Garda, where the pre-production tests will be carried out, open to a limited number of clients, industry professionals and brand enthusiasts, from the end of July.
With this new model, which is the Austrian shipyard’s entry in the 40’ range, Frauscher is finally filling the void which it has had in the last few years, between its best seller 1017 GT/GT-Air and the multi-award-winning 1414 Demon/Demon-AIR, with all the characteristics needed to soon become an icon for the brand, thanks to its clear-cut and decisive lines, that reinterpret and highlight Frauscher’s stylistic language, giving it an even more innovative and original imprint.
The wide teak deck, the frameless windscreen and the iconic vertical bow are among the main characteristics of the Frauscher 1212 Ghost. The large lateral air intakes, already present on the 747 Mirage and then on the 1414 Demon, are characteristic of the design and define the profile in a clear-cut and recognisable manner. The stern is, instead, characterised by the generous beach platform in teak, framed by the innovative “open” profile of the gunwale.
Together with the new 1212 Ghost, Cannes will also showcase some of the other prominent models by Frauscher, including the recent 1414 Demon Air. “Frauscher – notes Stefan Frauscher, general manager for the brand – has participated in the Cannes Yachting Festival for nearly ten years and is returning for the 2020 edition notwithstanding this year’s particular circumstances. We are happy and proud to be in Cannes for our current and future clients.”
