The refit of the motoryacht, Shamrock, began a new chapter for this splendid wooden yacht which was previously known as Georgia, Mystique and Copro III. This 20 metre wooden motorboat was built in 1957 by the Marco Shipyard in Seattle. Today the Shamrock owes its new-found beauty to the nearly complete refit carried out by Cantieri Navali di Sestri in Genova owned by Fulvio Montaldo.

The Shamrock’s engines were replaced with new FPT 450 Hp engines, the entire ship was rewired, and a frequency converter was installed to allow for both 110V 60 Hz and 240 V 50 Hz, it was also replumbed, and a desalinator and 25 Kw generator were added.

In addition the waste disposal system was redone and the interior woodwork was refurbished. The entire deck was covered in teak and the boat was revarnished. The carpenters from Cantieri Navali di Sestri also reattached the planking and recaulked the hull.
