CRN, a brand belonging to the Ferretti Group, launched the super yacht Rio, a bespoke yacht made in steel and aluminium based on the C138 Design. The new 62 metre yacht entered the water for the first time accompanied by the pride and satisfaction of all the professionals, tradespeople and highly qualified artisans who contributed to its design.

The m/y Rio was sold by Alex Heyes & David Westwood from TWW Yachts, and was designed and built by CRN in close partnership with the design and architecture studio, Omega Architects, who curated the exterior concept, and with the design studio Pulina Exclusive Interiors, who created the interior.

With its 62 metres in length and 11.20 meter beam, the yacht develops over four decks and can comfortably host up to 12 passengers in its owner suite, and in five guest cabins: two VIPs, both full beam, one on the aft main deck and one on the lower deck, and three suites on the lower deck, with two large doubles and one smaller double, all served by lifts to the deck.

Rio is a completely tailor-made and highly artisan piece, elegant and at the same time with a marked sporty personality expressed through its streamlined hull and its nearly vertical bow.

There are a number of elements that will allow the owner and their family to enjoy an unforgettable shared cruising experience, made of freedom and privacy: from the knowledgeable distribution and enhancement of the spaces, with large interior and exterior living spaces, to the splendid lounge wellness and fitness area in the beach club, through to the exclusive owner deck, a large and intimate oasis which can also be used socially.

Like all of CRN’s pleasure boats, the now 62-metre Rio was built in Ancona, in the Superyacht Yard belonging to the Ferretti Group, a centre of boating excellence with sustainability being one of its fundamental values, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of its processes. An important example of this is the trigeneration and solar powered systems, allowing the company to reduce electric and heating use respectively by 79% and 32%
