Kaloyan Radulov, Ceo and co-founder of Omaya Yachts, has entered the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Bulgaria. This is a list published annually by the American business magazine, which identifies the best young talents in the world, initially suggested by readers and then selected by an independent jury expert in various productive and cultural fields.
“I am thrilled to be included in such an important selection of people – commented Radulov himself -, and I hope that this inspires other young people in my community to fulfill their hopes and achieve entrepreneurial dreams“.
The entrepreneur’s family company, ELICA Yard, owner of a large shipyard with a production site on the Bulgarian banks of the Danube, entered the field of luxury catamarans at the beginning of 2024 with the Omaya Yachts brand, presenting the first motor model Omaya 50, nearing completion.
A path led by Kaloyan Radulov, who has long been involved in the national program Teenovator, growth tutoring for high school students in Bulgaria, and supporter of the non-profit organization Future for Silistra, dedicated to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of town of Silistra in the country.
An entrepreneur committed to social issues
“Investing in the next generation – says Kaloyan Radulov – is crucial for our collective future and the involvement of young people: by transferring our experience and wisdom, we contribute to ensuring a better future for all. To prosper, in fact, we must take care of our communities, enrich them, so that they can prosper and encourage the growth of young people. The work we are doing in Silistra, to enhance the local economy, will also make the places attractive for young people, who will then want to stay or return. After studies or travel“.
Among the latest interventions of the non-profit organisation, in addition to a charity football tournament, the construction of a playground for a school dedicated to special educational needs, the setting up of an acting school for teenagers and a series of meetings in schools with local entrepreneurs, in order to boost local small and medium-sized businesses and encourage economic growth. And, last but not least, a Business Camp for young entrepreneurs aged 19 to 29, aimed at training for the opening of startups and related financing.
