NAVIX60 by Leapher Yachts, an explorer that is part of a three-model range (with the more compact NAVIX50 and the upcoming NAVIX70) created for expert owners, is in the completion phase.
The Dutch shipyard have laid down the aluminium hardtop weighing 4.5 tonnes, completing the superstructure. This element was designed to support the advanced equipment for communication and navigation on the NAVIX60, moving a step forward in its construction. Among the few non-steel components in the explorer yacht’s superstructure, the canopy, 7 metres high, 12.3 metres long and 11 metres wide, has been designed to work in harmony with the innovation that makes the entire design stand out, encompassing concepts of resistance, aerodynamic and wear, essential for this type of vessel, created for long-term ocean navigation.
Luxury exploring
The NAVIX60 is scheduled to launch at the end of 2025, and has a 9000 nautical mile autonomy, perfect for long voyages, as it guarantees it can stay in open water for 40 days, without needing to refuel. Efficient propulsion, sustainable energy management and advanced technological systems are part of the equipment on this explorer, along with a luxurious translation of luxury and comfort on board.
“Our team has worked tirelessly to give life to this vision – explains Yiannis Andriotis, CEO for Leapher Yachts – with the main aim of supplying owners with the perfect yacht, allowing them to write their own stories of exploration, independently from where in the world they want to have their adventure.”
