Amer Yachts, a shipyard from San Remo belonging to the Permare Group, an international leader in the construction and design of yachts, launched it new F100 #18, which reached a maximum speed of 31.9 knots during testing. This is the first launch after lockdown for the Ligurian shipyard, which continued working without interruptions.

The latest gem of the series presents a special characteristic, a bespoke colour pantone, a vivid Capri blue, which calls to mind the intense and sublime hues of the sea in front of Faraglioni seemingly dedicated to the “blue mind” philosophy on the therapeutic power of water, for which Amer Yachts is an ambassador in Italy.

Amer Yachts F100 #18 - SpeedIn addition, differently from the first F100 built by centring the work around the characteristics of “light”, this unit has been conceived with the primary aim being the comfort of the owner and guests generated by silence. The owner’s cabin therefore becomes a space for meditation and introspection thanks to a noise-reducing barrier, that guarantees not only a sensation of quietness and relaxation but also of absolute privacy.

In particular, research and development were focused on insulation and the knowledgeable partnering of sound absorbent technical fabrics, the result of a thorough process covered by industrial secrecy carried out by the shipyard in partnership with Idroisol and Nord Compensati to create a semi-anechoic cabin, meaning the space is acoustically isolated for the owner or guest who will charter the unit (the work can also be extended to guest rooms). Also present on board is the wheelhouse made in Filava, the new eco-sustainable composite fibre for which Amer Yachts is a testimonial.

F100 #18 BY AMER YACHTS: STYLE

The interiors, instead, extremely refined and curated in every detail, were created through the cooperation between the famous architect, Stefano Tini, who has curated a number of yachts for the Permare Group and has a profound knowledge of the Ligurian shipyard, and the famous French architectural studio, Wilmotte & Associés Architectes. The Neoclassical style knowledgeably unites new high-end materials, elegant round mirrors and large open spaces, without forgetting the functionality and marine talents of Amer Yachts hulls.

Of great impact is also the aesthetic use of the large full wall wine cellar, that transmits a sense of conviviality typical of the epicurean spirit of the Mediterranean. Symbol of elegance and tradition, this splendid yacht is destined to become the depository of the interpretation of beauty of two countries and to mark the unique style dedicated to a personalised nautical creation. The new F100 #18 is also about to receive Green Plus and Comfort class certification, which reinforce the values of the high quality and sustainability of the product.

The vessel will be presented at the next boat shows in Cannes and Genoa and will be launched onto the charter market for the next season under the French flag and RIF certified testing (International French Register). Among the Italian shipyards, Amer Yachts is the one that has the most experience in working with RIF, which has become a valid alternative to the English MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency), for both new and used vessels for commercial use, with tax relief and reductions.
