Double the success for Amer Yachts, which won the Oscar of the boating industry for personalisation of interiors and the celebration of the Amerio family’s 60 years at Genoa.
The Amer F100 is the best yacht for the personalisation of interiors. This was established by the honourable jury of the “World Yachts Trophies” during the gala evening at the Carlton in Cannes, awarding the shipyard from Sanremo, Amer Yachts, with a special trophy dedicated to the best semi-custom hull for 2020.
This recognition is a testament to the shipyard’s great aptitude for extreme personalisation. The road taken together with studio Wilmotte et Associés and Stefano Tini, has brought together Italian taste with the emphasis of details, which is typically French.
The boat will premier at the Genoa Boat Show, with a blue exterior and dedicated pantone, named Blu Capri, for a vessel that will become the charter star in the 2021 season.
Genoa will be the first post-Covid boat show, celebrating its 60th edition. And for those 60 years the Genoa Boat Show has seen the continued presence of the Amerio family.
The founder, Fernando Amerio, participated in person in all the editions of the event: the first few years with the engine builders, including shows in Milan, then as a dealer, together with his children, and, starting in the 90s, with his own brand, Amer Yachts.
The 2020 Genoa Boat Show will be a chance to celebrate the goals reached by the Amerio family, who has always invested in and supported the only Italian boating event at an international level.
“It is impossible not to remember the happiness and euphoria – says Barbara Amerio – of when we were little and we left early to go to the Boat Show to visit Dad, and hoarding stickers and gadgets in the Sunday crowd. Those were the days where everything in the Show was sold out”.
