Debut for the Croatia Yacht Show which, running from 1 to 3 October in the port of Zadar, saw the participation of over 3000 visitors and more than 200 charter brokers coming from 30 different countries around the world. Organised by Yachtmaster Group, the same company which also organises the International Charter Expo in Amsterdam, this event, with its first iteration, aims to present to the international public, crewed superyachts working in the Adriatic Sea.

Thirty vessels were anchored in the port and visits and meetings were arranged using the innovative YachtFyre matching app: an added value offered by the event organisers to exhibitors, providing the option of organising their appointments in advance. Just like on dating sites, the B2B networking platform matches professionals together to find the bast sales partners.

In addition to highlighting the potential of Croatian businesses in superyacht charter, the Croatia Yacht Show was an opportunity to demonstrate how this world is also connected to the automotive industry and luxury flights to and from the port of Zadar. And so, there were also presentations of the new Bentley Continental GT, alongside the Airbus EC-135 helicopter, whose crew uniform was designed by Croatian stylists, Krie Design, Ana Maria Ricov and Jet Lag. In addition, a competition saw on board chefs cook off against each other; the winner was Ben Bailey from the m/y Akira, who surprised the jury with a cherry-based Croatian dish.
