After being launched in early September, the new M47 Power by Mylius Yachts immediately set sail to make its debut at the Cannes and Genoa boat shows. The presentation of this 15 metre motor boat marks an important achievement for the Podenzano (Piacenza) based shipyard, who began working in motorboats recently, alongside its traditional production of full carbon fibre sail boats. Thank to their years of experience, Mylius has built a high performance yacht with ample interior and exterior space. During the Genoa Boat Show 2024, the Daily Nautica team went on board to find out more about this fantastic model.
HIGH SPEED PERFORMANCE
What makes the new M47 Power stand out is certainly its performance. Thanks to its simple design, reminiscent of sail boats, and its four Mercury 500 R outboard engines, the motoryacht can reach a maximum speed of 55 knots. In addition, the “two-step” hull provides more control at high speeds, thanks to the reduced wet surface area and more lift, making sailing fast, safe and fun.
Even for comfort, the M47 Power has a number of different solutions. The four outboard engines not only power the vessel, but help maximise the interior and exterior space. To the stern passengers can relax in a large sun area, and dive into the water from both sides of the yacht, thanks to the expanding gunwales. Near the cockpit are comfortable seats designed for the vessel’s high performance and a fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge and various lazarets.
INTERIOR
The interior of the M47 Power can accommodate four passengers in two cabins, one fore and one aft, with separate access. The master cabin is located to the bow and has a queen-size bed, storage, and a private bathroom with separate shower. To the stern is the guest cabin with two single beds and another private bathroom.
