Sanlorenzo have announced they will be sponsoring the exhibit “Mutual Aid – Art in Collaboration with Nature”, cementing their love of supporting the arts and sustainability. The event, to be held in Turin, in Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, will be open to the public from Thursday 31 October to Sunday 23 March 2025.

The exhibition, curated by Francesco Manacorda and Marianna Vecellio, is dedicated to sustainability and the human impact on the natural world, profiling different phases of artistic reflection on ecology, culminating in concerns around the current climate crisis and the theoretical developments which put into question the centrality of man in the natural system. The project focuses around the act of sharing the creative process between artists and natural elements (animal, vegetable and inorganic), interpreted by a number of artists who have explored the question of interdependence between humans and nature from the 1960s to the present day.

The exhibit not only invites viewers to reconsider the validity of the separation between nature and culture, re-reading them as collaborative elements, called upon to support and nurture each other, but also offers a vision of the ecosystem and an innovative approach to environmental topics, founded on the coexistence, sharing and the value of multi-species collective creativity and planning.

In this context, Sanlorenzo’s support of sustainability has become global, with a holistic approach that also takes shape through art, as demonstrated by the opening of “Sanlorenzo Arts Venice” in 2025. This new space will be a platform through which art, design and innovation dialogue with the values of respect for nature – all which inspire Sanlorenzo’s entire vision.
