Accedi RegistratiThe 28th edition of the China International Boat Show (CIBS) is now open and running until 2 April in the Shanghai New International Expo Center. With over 40,000 visitors, CIBS is on its way to becoming one f the most exclusive boating platforms in the world, providing a professional business environments for international exhibitors and buyers. The event showcases a vast range of yachts, as well as a selection of equipments, boating accessories and water sports products. In addition, a number of different meeting opportunities are planned for industry businesses, who will discuss the future of the maritime industry with a particular focus on innovation.
MAIN AREAS
The China International Boat Show 2025, for whom Daily Nautica is a media partner, covers an exhibition area of 45,000 square metres, with around 500 brands and exhibitors of the highest level in the international boating scene. Overall the event has six different sections, including water sports, fishing with artificial lures, RV campers, tourism, outdoor sports and boating equipment of all kinds.
The China International Boat Show is thereby providing visitors with the best in terms of quality and fun, guiding, in the meantime, the development of the entire boating industry. It is worth pointing out, in particular, the large area dedicated to water sports, where visitors can participate in exciting activities and acquire the latest equipment.
INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY
This year the event is showcasing a number of developments in the sector, with particular attention paid to innovation and sustainability. Space will be dedicated in particular to electric vessels and clean energy technology, in line with the national Chinese objective of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
“The latest design concepts - explained the general manager of the China International Boat Show in a recent interview with DN - along with new materials and advanced technology for yacht manufacture not only aim to satisfy the demand for a better boating experience, but to put ‘green’ applications into practice, that have low carbon dioxide emissions and are better for the environment”.
This trend reflects the work the Chinese boating market is putting in to protect the environment and adopt sustainable solutions. During the last iteration a new exhibition area was inaugurated, dedicated to energy, uniting dozens of Chinese and international brands and manufacturers of electric boats.
