The Singapore Yachting Festival takes place from 10 to 13 April, and Azimut will be participating as a main exhibitor. Visitors to stand ONE°15 Marina, Sentosa Cove, will have the chance to see the Seadeck 7, which, after its American debut, will be presented for the first time in Asia, The model is the second in the series created to provide a more gentle way of enjoying the water, a blend between technology, design, and a deep care for the wellbeing of both people and the environment.
Azimut’s success in Asia
2025 marks an important year for the group in Asia, one of the areas with the most growth potential for the industry. The Avigliana-based shipyard is investing in this area to further reinforce their distribution network and services for the Asian yacht-owner community, which will be celebrated in Tokyo with the first Azimut Asian Rendez-Vous.
The region’s success can also be seen in the company’s recent win at the Best of the Best Awards 2025. The award given by the Hurun Research Institute, recognised Azimut as the most appealing brand among the HNWI, individuals of a high net worth in China. In addition, the Seadeck 7 was awarded Luxury Hybrid Yacht Best New Arrival. This positive cycle will be crowned with the company’s participation in the Singapore Yacht Festival, providing the opportunity to come into contact with a public that is increasingly passionate and in harmony with the technological and style innovation that makes the Italian brand stand out.
Azimut at the Singapore Yachting Festival
“The Singapore Yachting Festival – explains Enrico Chiaussa, Azimut’s Chief Commercial officer for the EMEA and APAC areas – represents for us an ideal stage to present the Seadeck 7, expressing the group’s skill at creating new lifestyles on board, through innovative layouts and partnerships with internationally relevant designers. An fresh approach to traditional canon, making wellbeing, experience and personal relationships at the heart of life on board. Asia is, today, one of the most dynamic areas in the world: our APAC clients show they have a strong tie to the brand’s values and growing interest in more sustainable options. We are certain that this new model will be welcomed enthusiastically in an area where Azimut is cementing its leadership and acquiring new shares of the market.”
The stand will also be displaying another two successful models for the shipyard. The first is the Magellano 60; this crossover made its debut in Asia at the Singapore yachting festival last year. The second is the Grande Trideck, which continues to be increasingly successful in the area, with two units already delivered and a third coming in a couple months.
Characteristics of the Seadeck 7
The Seadeck 7 is the first yacht in the world to combine hybrid propulsion with the Volvo Penta IPS system, based on Volvo Penta’s revolutionary hybrid-electric technology. This innovation allows a careful owner to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 40% over a year of average use. This result is also due to their extensive use of carbon fibre and the high efficiency hull, developed by NAMES along with the R&D Department of the Azimut Benetti Group.
A central element to the Seadeck series’ design is the Fun Island, a reinterpretation of the cockpit created by Alberto Mancini, who transforms this area into a terrace embracing the water. This eliminates all barriers with the surrounding landscape providing a wonderful experience based on a deep connection with nature. But Azimut wanted to replicate this careful approach also through their choice of natural, recycled and recyclable materials, which are also used for the interior curated by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, introducing a new design language to yachting.
