Naval design studio, Hydro Tec, presented, during the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, their latest concept design: an 80-metre superyacht that gets its name from the famous British warship, Valiant. Daily Nautica was present during the press conference. “This concept – explained Sergio Cutolo, president and founder of Hydro Tec – innovatively combines aggressive naval elements with an elegant, automotive-inspired aesthetic.”

Its design also stands out for its unbroken flow between interior spaces. Each area has been designed for seamless transition from one space to the next, guaranteeing full privacy without sacrificing the openness and flow of the layout.

The Interior

The interior spaces of the Valiant are in the Japandi style, a fusion between Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian warmth, which gives the yacht a natural and relaxing aesthetic.

The owner’s suite is to the bow and is a private refuge. Its position offers a breathtaking view and it has its own private jacuzzi. The yacht’s dining area, located to the side has been designed with an open plan kitchen and curved glass windows, with an uninterrupted view over the surrounding seascape. The connecting balcony improves the outdoor dining experience, blending the interior with the surrounding nature and creating an immersive experience.

The large main saloon is a welcoming space for socialising or relaxing and provides direct access to the lower deck. In spite of its large size, this lounge maintains an intimate and luxurious atmosphere.

The Exterior

A distinctive characteristic of the Valiant is the beach club, connected directly to the guest area and the other decks. This area is also equipped with an infinity pool and a spa overlooking the water. The beach club has been designed to be functional in all weather conditions. The Valiant is also equipped with a tender and water toys, offering passengers infinite exploration without compromising the sophistication of the yacht’s design.
