The new generation of Gran Turismo continues to take shape. This historic range was created by the ISA Yachts shipyard, which has been a part of the Palumbo Superyachts brand since 2016. After the success of ISA Gran Turismo 70, comes the 50 metre version.
The sportiness of this model can be seen at first glance: with its streamlined hull, straight bow, receding superstructure and fully balanced spaces. A 499GT coupé capable of satisfying even the most demanding boat owner in terms of performance and elegance.
ISA GRAN TURISMO 50: VERSION 2.0
Taking inspiration from jet design, the shape of the lateral arches, an ISA Yachts trademark style, has been revisited, alongside the rollbar and tapering the decks to the stern. The objective is to give the general feeling of lightness by making larger windows and creating a more streamlined profile. The naval architecture was curated by the Palumbo Superyachts technical team, while the exterior and interior design was curated by the Venetian studio, Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi.
The open stern, on three levels is certainly one of the main characteristics of the vessel, configured with an ample lounge area with an uninterrupted panoramic view. The central level is dedicated to a gorgeous glass pool nearly at water level leading on to the final section where the central transformer is located.
This ultra-modern layout of the exterior is also reflected in the interior where there are no visual barriers aft, allowing passengers to fully enjoy the view.
LAYOUT OF THE ISA GT 50
The superstructure is located further aft, and is typical of the Gran Turismo range, creating a vast and versatile space to the bow which includes a lounge area with table/chimney, a generous sun lounge and a second relaxation area.
The interiors are elegant with luxury elements and architectural details: grooved wood, metal inserts, soft and indirect lighting, metal and dark brass frames. A palette of colours with a touch of ochre to contrast the black and highlight the white, giving it a sunkissed look. The owner’s suit, to the bow of the main deck, includes a wardrobe, lounge, bathroom with double sink, massage room and a private gym. This area also has an optional configuration for a guest cabin in place of the gym.
The owner’s suite’s design includes a panoramic view of the outside thanks to two large lateral windows leading out to a private balcony with collapsible gunwale, for the personal use of the owner. In addition, the ceiling in this room, with its circular design, is reminiscent of a skylight, which thanks to the lighting solution creates a dreamlike atmosphere.
