Winner of the Eco Award and Best Naval Architecture Award at the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards 2023, the Majesty 120 is one of the most sold superyachts for Gulf Craft. Daily Nautica went on board during the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, together with Lee Oldroyd, sales manager for Gulf Craft Group.
“The Majesty 120 – explains Oldroyd to DN – embodies a new era for Majesty luxury yachts, thanks to its exceptional design and energy efficient naval architecture. In addition, it has external entertainment spaces up to 30% larger than many competitors.”
One of the Majesty 120’s showpieces is the HVAC System (heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), highly efficient integrated technology that reduces the size of the generators, fuel consumption and carbon footprint, improving sustainability and reducing operating costs.
This innovative superyacht is built using lightweight and long-lasting composites and can easily sail in shallow waters with its draught of 2.1 metres. The advanced engineering and robust hull make it perfect for destinations such as the Caribbean and Greek islands, as well as other traditional Mediterranean destinations.
The design of the Majesty 120
The Majesty 120 has a modern, symmetrical layout. Among the key characteristics are a jacuzzi on the sundeck and a 30m2 hybrid beach club, which can be converted into tender storage. There is also plenty of storage for two jet skis to the bow and a tender to the stern, along with two cranes and the anchor.
The Interior
The interior is finished using solid wood, leather and marble, this last is generously used in the cabins. The owner’s suite is on the main deck, while the captain’s cabin is behind the bridge. This has been built using angled glass to ensure further protection from the sun, as well as making night sailing easier. The lower deck can accommodate up to 10 passengers in five cabins, all with private bathroom, as well as 7 crew members. Large windows, cut into the railings, create a clear connection witht he water and the outside.
The Exterior
The aft deck has a generous space, with a cockpit including a teak dining table outside, that can accommodate up to 10 people as well as a comfortable seating area. The forward and upper decks have plenty of space for sun loungers. The 65m2 sundeck has a jacuzzi, bar, and lounge.
