With its 55 metres in length, the megayacht “Papa” attracted the attention of many when it stopped at the Marina Porto Antico in Genova a few days ago.
Launched in 2019 by the Dutch shipyard Amels, with exterior design by Tim Heywood and interior design by Laura Sessa, it stands out for its elegance amongst yachts of its size. The strong lines of the hull and lengthened bow are the two elements that at first glance give a unique style to the vessel.
With a beam of 9.4m, a draught of 3.35m and a volume of 671 GT, Papa guarantees stability during navigation thanks to its full displacement hull. It has two MTU engines, to sail comfortably at 13 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots. Its 115,000 litre tanks guarantee autonomy up to 4500 nautical miles at cruising speed.
THE INTERIORS OF THE SUPERYACHT PAPA
Regarding the interiors, the superyachts can host up to 10 passengers in 5 suites, including a master suite, three double cabins and a single cabin. The bed configuration includes 1 king sized bed, 3 queens, and two singles.
Papa can also host up to 13 crew members, to guarantee an even more relaxing luxury yacht charter. If this weren’t enough, passengers can enjoy the spacious main room, complete with dining area, lateral balconies and sky lounge.
Moving on to the exteriors, the superyacht is equipped with a large solarium complete with outdoor cinema, lounge chairs and a large hot tub. Another characteristic is its large collection of water toys, offering fun and excitement.
