The megayacht Grace has arrived in Genova. We met with it at the entrance to the port under the Lanterna, while it had just begun manoeuvres coming in from Montecarlo.

The megayacht Grace, formerly Kibo, is 81.2 metres long and was built in Germany by the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard in Lemwerder.  Its interior was designed by the English design studio Terence Disdale, who also curated the exterior design. It was delivered to its owner in June 2014.

On board the Grace 12 passengers can comfortably spend the night in 6 suites. The full beam master cabin is extremely spacious. In addition to an office for the owner, the megayacht also has a double bathroom – for him and for her. There are 23 crew members on board.

Grace has a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and decks in teak. It has two 2,001 HP Caterpillar diesel engines (3516B), allowing it to comfortably sail at 14 knots and reach a maximum speed of 16 knots.

Sailing at 14 knots, thanks to its 170 thousand litre fuel tanks, its autonomy is up to 4,500 miles. It can also hold 35 thousand litres of fresh water. There are a number of comforts on board the Grace, including a large beach area and piano.
