The interiors of the Bilgin 163-II

The Istanbul-based shipyard, Bilgin Yachts, shared the official renderings of the interior of the 50-metre superyacht, Bilgin 163-II, only one month after the launch of the superyacht, Leona.

THE INTERIORS OF THE BILGIN 163-II

With exterior design and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by Hot Lab, the second unit of the Bilgin 163 50-metre model has a timeless living space that is elegant and comfortable.

We foresee – says the CEO of Bilgin Yachts  İsmail Şengünfurther improvement in the distinctive look of Bilgin Yachts. Our new 163 series is one of our most ambitious designs and is a perfect example of what we can offer our clients.

With a six cabin layout, Bilgin 163 is harmonious in the day areas thanks to the natural colours, large windows and glossy materials. With a 21 metre long sun lounge area and an aft deck of 12 metres, it also has even more exterior space compared to other models of the same category.

MODERN, LUXURIOUS AND ELEGANT

Berkay Yilmaz, sales manager for Bilgin Yachts, describes the interiors of the Bilgin 163-II as modern, luxurious and elegant. “The yacht – explained Yilmaz – is very generous in height in all of the day areas, it has large windows and low gunwales which increase visibility in the main saloon.

In the various rooms of the yacht there is ample natural light, a great source of warmth and comfort. “A round, full-height window – added the sales manager – separates the hall from the main saloon. The Hot Lab team added special characteristics, like a suspended staircase, a skylight on the floor of the terrace and an extraordinary chandelier in the main hall.

The new renderings show that the Bilgin 163-II is the result of meticulous work by its designers. “Bilgin 163, also known as NB-81 – notes Enrico Lumini, partner and head of design for Hot Lab – is a modern vessel, contemporary and elegant, with a perfect combination of smooth and angular surfaces making it a masculine yet welcoming yacht.

PURE ARTISTRY

In this model the designers showcase the luxury of pure craftsmanship, with attention to the smallest details, all without renouncing the use of precious materials. The mood of the interiors is based on a few natural colours that include the entire range of sand, light grey and dirty white.

To give an even more refined aspect and a soft sense of balance, the Hot Lab team used modern materials like large 3D wood, laminated windows with metallic mesh, chromed stainless steel elements, thick rugs and textiles coming direct from Italy’s full textile heritage.

The interior lines are well defined and flow into the exterior living spaces. The exterior spaces of this model will be larger compared to previous models.

This – noted  Emrecan Özgün from Unique Yacht Design – also gives the Bilgin 163 a sporty aspect.” Equipped with two CAT 1450 engines, the new Bilgin 163 will reach maximum speeds of around 17 knots in economy mode.

Under construction in the Bilgin shipyard in Istanbul are two Bilgin 163 50-metre units, the first of which will be delivered in 2023 and the second in April 2024.
