Arma di Taggia, the beach area part of the ancient town of Taggia
Taggia (Tàggia in dialect) is a town in the province of Imperia divided into three parts: the historical centre, Taggia, located in the nearby inland of the Valle Argentina; the industrial area; and the beachside area, better known as Arma di Taggia mostly extending along the left side of the Aurelia. Taggia has a constant temperature throughout most of the year, with late spring-like temperatures.

Boating in Arma Taggia

The tourist port of Arma di Taggia is a safe harbour for small boats, carved out of the sheltered banks of the river Argentina: on the left upon entry there is a dock with a single pier. The dock is managed by Circolo Nautico Arma on behalf of the Municipality of Taggia. The closest secure roadsteads can be found in Sanremo and Marina degli Aregai.
