F.lli Razeto & Casareto, the multi-award winning Ligurian company making handles and accessories for boating, is taking part in the “Italian Home Interior & Infrastructure – MEP – In the Gulf Countries” project promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

The project, targeting the best in Italian products in a number of sectors, is promoting commercial contacts through a digital B2B platform, promoting Italian excellence in the United Arab Emirates. A simple and immediate tool for Arab businesses, helping them to come into contact with participating companies, including  F.lli Razeto & Casareto who also have a representative office in Dubai.

Among the latest creations by the Ligurian brand, who also celebrated its first 100 years in business, is the Quadraled, an illuminated antimicrobial smart handle, offering safety and beauty, designed by Giangi Razeto, the creative mind of the company.

In critical conditions, on board and on land (in contract environments), the grip on this futuristic handle is backlit, helping people find their way out safely, thanks to its intuitive colours. In addition, it can supply emergency and management information, seeing as the proprietary integrated system allows the handles to work together with different systems, like, for example, fire suppression, using Modbus.

Cabled using Bus485, the system sends a network signal throughout the entire facility and lights up every door handle, transforming them all into safe and smart objects. Quadraled stands out for its Esi antimicrobial surface treatment, effective against Coronavirus (as well as other bacteria and fungi), it has been tested and certified by the virology laboratory at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
