The B.Now 50M “Iryna” by Benetti is a vessel that rewrites history, thanks to qualities that make it stand out from any other yacht
The first in a series of 4 models of 50, 60, 67 and 72 metres, the B.Now 50M “Iryna” by Benetti is a vessel that will rewrite history, thanks to qualities like modernness, innovation and functionality that make it stand out from any other yacht. In addition it is the best expression of Benetti’s artistry, design skills and construction quality, rewriting new models compared to classic yacht design.
The well-known English studio, RWD was able to enhance the open spaces creating continuity through to the decks, ensuring constant visual contact with the water from bow to stern. Thanks to Benetti’s advanced building technology and the engineering solutions in the hull, delivery times have been reduced by nearly 30% compared to the market average, something that really makes a difference.
The hull, in steel and aluminium, has a sinuous and dynamic profile following the streamlined and ample windows, uniting the 4 decks harmoniously, while the hull, designed by P.L.A.N.A., in partnership with the Azimut|Benetti Research and Development Department, defines imposing yet slender and sporty features.
The spaces on board create a social atmosphere and thanks to the ample aft terrace, there is a continuous open view of the water from the inside out. In particular, redefining the stern of the Lower Deck is the beach area, a spacious 30 square metres, accessed through a wing-shaped door on the starboard side and from the stairs of the Main Deck.
A terrace right on the edge of the water, with a transparent glass pool, a sauna, service area complete with shower and an open air relaxation area. Without counting that the space can be further expanded thanks to the extending lateral platform creating a further outdoor social space.
At midship are the 4 guest cabins, separated from the forward area reserved for the crew, which includes twin cabins, a single for the captain, a laundry room and crew mess. To the stern of the Main Deck is an ample living area and, inside, a full lounge saloon that enhances the indoor-outdoor flow.
To the bow is the owner’s suite with private balcony, an ample dressing room and luggage area personalised in every detail. The garage is also to the bow, and can hold a 6.25 metre tender, a jet ski, a rescue boat and four seabobs.
The Upper Deck is home to the comfortable sun lounge area to the stern and an outdoor dining area which can be converted into a multimedia room, and, through a verandah door, is the interior saloon, leading to the Gym Room. To the bow, with a separate entrance, is the ship office and wheelhouse, reserved for the captain. The ample Sun Deck has a dining area with multimedia space, a relaxation area and a bar to the bow to enjoy an incredible view of the sea in total privacy.
In the interior, the covering for the deckheads is made in prestigious wood like silk coloured maple veneer and smoked durmast. In harmony with the wood, ivory coloured leather, tanned using natural processes, covers the deckheads, with the recesses covered in palladium leaf, together with a satin finish: this is also reflected in the use of ecology stones for the decor.
The tones in every room play on the different hues of ivory, brick and mocha, from the wall to the dark honey-coloured silk and bamboo carpet. Adding personality to the yacht are different nautical-themed artworks provided by the owner, including some prized maps.
For privacy on board, there are two internal staircases, one reserved for the owner and his guests, the other for the crew, with completely different routes, ensuring quick operations. Also available to passengers is an internal lift, serving three decks, from the Lower to Upper Deck. Iryna can reach a maximum speed of 15 knots and, travelling at 12 knots, she guarantees an autonomy of 4,500 nautical miles without ever having to come to shore for supplies.
