One hundred and five meters of superb beauty and elegance: the sailing superyacht “Black Pearl”, like a rare pearl, shows all its majestic splendour in the port of Genova, where we saw her. Built in 2018 by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco, Black Pearl has flexible accommodation for up to 14 passengers in five cabins; its interior design is by Italian design studio, Nuvolari Lenard.

The cabins include a master suite, two VIP cabins, a double cabin and a twin. There can be up to 27 crew members on board, and passengers can enjoy a variety of experiences, like a dance floor, a cinema, sauna, pool, large beach club, a well-equipped gym and a jacuzzi on the deck.

The Black Pearl, with its steel hull and aluminium superstructure, navigates comfortably at 12 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots, with autonomy of up to 5,400 nautical miles at cruising speed.

BLACK PEARL AND ITS ROTATING MAST

The Black Pearl is also one of the few sailing yachts equipped with an extraordinary DynaRig system, highly efficient sailing technology that uses rotating masts and a series of sails that extend to create a single panel with no gaps.  When the sails are furled they are invisible: they unfurl directly from the mast and the full sail plan opens in 7 minutes.

There are also a large variety of water toys and accessories on board, like two WaveRunners, water skis and a Caygo Seabob, which can ride above the water, or go below, allowing the user to swim through the clear water with the fish. The garage also stores wakeboards, kayaks, paddleboards and snorkels. The Black Pearl also has three tenders, one of which is a 10.4 metre Pascoe International Limo Tender.

The sailing superyacht is currently available for charter: this summer for cruises around the Mediterranean, and in the winter for the Caribbean. We also saw the Black Pearly three years ago in Montenegro.
