Only a few months after the presentation of the first unit during the Cannes and Monaco boat shows, Baglietto announced the sale of the ninth unit of their T52 range, an order which closely follows the sale of the tenth DOM 133 just last week to the Australian market. An unprecedented success for the brand’s two main ranges, inaugurating their 170th year in business in the best manner possible.
“In just 3 years – says Fabio Ermetto, CCO for Baglietto – we have sold 9 units of this model, 2 of which with hybrid propulsion. Success that highlights the skills the shipyard has in interpreting the needs of an ever changing market and at looking to the future without ever betraying their roots. The strength of this project resides in this consistency, in being able to bring together, naturally, the brand’s well-known traditional styles with the needs of a contemporary vessel, with a strong and distinctive personality and in step with the times. Just as we do when combining the latest technology with traditional designs that have been around for 170 years.”
The exterior was designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, who, for this unit, also designed the interior in partnership with Margherita Casprini. The client is represented by Petr Soldatkin from Aberton Yachts, and will act as project manager throughout. Delivery is scheduled for 2026.
“This is the second unit of the T52 model – say Aberton Yachts in a note – which has been sold through our agency recently. The Aberton team is extremely proud of having such a solid relationship with Baglietto and we cannot wait to achieve more with them in the future. We hope that the owner will enjoy the marvellous journey that is the construction of their very own yacht.”
Equipped with two MTU 12V2000 M86 engines, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots, the vessel stands out for its original open stern design, with a beach club covering three levels – already a trademark of Baglietto’s new models. The large pool can be easily hidden thanks to an ingenious up/down “disappearing” flooring system, further extending the available surface of the deck when the pool is not in use.
On the upper deck, the full height windows, which open on three sides, create a pleasant “al fresco” saloon, with a conversation area and dining area to be enjoying in all types of weather. Lastly, the approximately 24 metre sun deck has no equals on a ship of this size and volume, following in the footsteps of traditional displacement yachts by Baglietto.
