Mangusta Yachts have launched the sixth unit of the Mangusta 104 REV, the entry level model for the iconic range, Mangusta Maxi Open, harnessing the brand’s style – sporty and streamlined with an aesthetic balance that makes every one of their creations recognisable.
The design, resulting from a partnership between the shipyard’s engineering department and the studio, Lobanov Design, reinterprets the substantial and formal content of this successful range, while remaining faithful to Mangusta’s elements, enhanced through harmonious design solutions with great visual impact.
Built in composite in the Viareggio facility, the Mangusta 104 REV encompasses the shipyard’s vast experience in working in composite on large, high-performance vessels and, like the previous five yachts of the same model, it has the latest technology, elevated speed and comfort, and optimised consumption thanks to the high efficiency of the hull and propulsion system, made up of two Rolls Royce MTU 2600HP engine, one paired with two Kongsberg-Kamewa waterjets allowing the vessel two reach a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 35.
The Mangusta 104 REV was also developed paying particular attention to reducing noise and vibration, which, together with the brightness of the interior and ample spaces, translate into complete wellbeing for the people on board, no matter what the speed or location. Adding to the ample outside space is the flybridge, integrated seamlessly into the design, ensuring the brand’s family feeling.
The sixth Mangusta 104 REV, the sale of which came through partnership with Samuel Le Gall (Northrop & Johnson) and Ivan Adzic (Mangusta Area Manager France), with sail around the Mediterranean and be based along the Cote D’Azur. Other units in this range will be delivered during this year’s boating season: the first available for sale will be delivered in spring 2025.
