The new Pearl 82 by British shipyard, Pearl Yachts, debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, with excellent reviews from visitors. This is a design that stands out amongst the 80-foot market. Indeed, the vessel, although it only measures 25 metres, has a number of characteristics that are usually attributed to a superyacht, like the location of the master suite on the main deck, the raised pilot room and direct connections from bow to stern. During the French event, the Daily Nautica team went on board this yacht in the company of Ross Donohoe, international sales manager for Pearl Yachts.

SUPERYACHT SIZE

The three decks of the Pearl 82 are well connected and allow the owner to move from one place to another very easily. One example is the splendid fore private terrace, which can be accessed both from the owner’s suite, on the main deck, and the flybridge, via a ladder. The flybridge area includes a standard sized dining table, a multifunctional bar and, to the stern, a combination of sun lounge and hot tub.

In addition, the Pearl 82 has two different configurations for the aft deck “Riviera” and “Veranda”, to further adapt to the client’s needs. The “Riviera” layout positions the sun lounge to the stern, behind the table in the cockpit. The “Veranda” option, moves the seating around, while keeping the water in view at all times. No matter the client’s choice, the gunwales can be expanded, which opens out the cockpit even more. Lastly, a hidden garage offers a surprising amount of space, enough for a William 345 tender, a skidoo and other water toys.

INTERIOR OF THE PEARL 82

The master suite, located on the fore main deck, has a spectacular private terrace with panoramic view. A king-size bed overlooks the window; to the side is a walk in wardrobe and luxurious private bathroom. Below decks are another four cabins with private bathroom, two twin and two doubles, all beautifully furnished like the master on the main deck, and all separate from the engine room and crew cabins.
