The new Mangusta Oceano 52 has been officially presented. A modern yacht whose form and function are expressed through a contemporary style, guaranteeing continuous visual contact with the water and a feeling of spaciousness and freedom of movement that characterises all models of the Mangusta Oceano range. Created through a partnership between the shipyard’s Engineering department and designer, Alberto Mancini, who curated the interior and exterior, this design pushes the boundaries of concept and style previously expressed by the Mangusta Oceano 39 and Mangusta Oceano 44 models.

The Mangusta Oceano 52 – explains Mancini – stands out for its strong, clean design which highlights the proportions and shape of a megayacht that expresses an authoritative presence, imposing yet fascinating, presenting itself as a yacht that appears to be longer than 52 metres.

After a careful market analysis – adds Stefano Arlunno, Mangusta President for the Americas – we wanted to redefine the concepts of the 500GT segment, which features never before seen on a vessel of this kind, where innovation and modularity on all decks make living on board like living on a megayacht.

The team’s research led to the development of a boat that could be modulated so as to guarantee its owner the space they desired, adapting and personalising it more than is normally possible. For this reason, each Mangusta Oceano 52 can be considered a one-off, with extremely high level technical and base characteristics.

Mangusta Oceano 52: a perfect combination of innovation, tradition and quality

Thanks to a careful study of the glass surfaces and design choices aimed at eliminating obstacles, the lifestyle on board this steel and aluminium displacement yacht is similar to that of a 60-metre, where the in & out concept is expressed excellently through constant visual contact with the waster from the inside and outside. The main deck is almost completely made of plate glass, especially to the stern, with no “trunks”, which have, in this case, been moved externally.

One of the new changes introduced with the Mangusta Oceano 52, is moving the master suite to the upper deck, facing the prow, creating a private space with incredible impact, with its 180° view of the horizon thanks to the full height windows. The suite has private access to the outside of the deck with its large “Mangusta Signature” infinity pool and a staircase leading to the patio lounge (located on the interior of the main deck), an extremely versatile space that can be transformed into a lounge or gym. On the main deck, where the master suite is usually located, are the two VIP cabins, and the main deck offers a number of different four-cabin solutions. The first unit of the Mangusta Oceano 52 is currently under construction in the Overmarine Group shipyard in Pisa.
