During the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Benetti Yachts revealed their new designs for B.Yond 40M and 57M, their Motopanfilo 45M and their new concept for B.Loft. Daily Nautica went to the press conference held on Thursday 26 September at Hotel Hermitage in Monaco, where the shipyard presented all the latest that encapsulates their essence, “The House of Yachting”, demonstrating their work towards a sustainable lifestyle.

Marco Valle, CEO for the group, opened the conference by highlighting that the 2023/2024 objectives achieved, with 1.3 billion euros income and 2.6 billion backlog, created solid bases for a growth forecast of 15% over the next boating year. This achievement is supported by an investment plan of 160 million euros. Proof of how solid the group is, is their order portfolio, currently at 58 units.

Sustainable lifestyle

Benetti have developed a top-of-the-line electrification system which reduces fuel consumption by 20%, and it now has the biggest hybrid fleet on the market with 90% of their models in hybrid or diesel-electric options. Energy use reduction is controlled by Power Management which optimises electrical charges on board, heat recovery systems and direct expansion in climate control systems, reducing services consumption by up to 40%.

In addition, the shipyard continues to offer installation of a SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) for yachts under 500GT, even though it in not mandatory for that category. This choice reduces NOx emissions by 2.5t per yacht/year, in addition to allowing yachts to be used in protected marine areas.

The B.Yond range

The greenest yacht family in its category is growing with the new 57M and 40M, in partnership with Igor Lobanov for the exterior and Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture for interior design.

B.Yond 57M

This range has three stern configurations: Beach, with an ample outdoor space and pool, Air, with a touch&go helipad allowing for limitless navigation, and Water, for marine exploration. The ample glass surface over the 57metres ensures plenty of natural light, an element which has allowed the use of matte black finishes creating a brighter view of the surrounding water.

B.Yond 40M

This vessel has four decks, each one created for a specific function, while the social areas cover 150 square metres and are surrounded by full height windows. In this case, for the main saloon, a lightened brush durmast has been chosen.

Motopanfilo 45m

The steel and aluminium Motopanfilo 45M is a modern reinterpretation of the “Navetta” concept. It was designed in partnership with RWD for the exterior and Lazzarini & Pickering Architetti for the concept of the interiors and exterior decks. The saloon on the main deck is open on three sides, creating a veranda overlooking the infinity pool. The interior and exterior are enhanced by using natural materials like rattan, wicker and bamboo.

B.Loft

B.Loft is a new concept developed by Cassetta Yacht Designers for Benetti, introducing a contemporary touch of “residential feeling” to a mega yacht. The real innovation is the Cabana located on the main deck, a reinterpretation of the traditional beach club. This panoramic area has a 270° view, with folding wings that further expand the available space. B.Loft brings together with space of a villa with the brightness of a loft, with interiors around four metres in height. The ample outdoor areas, which can be transformed into indoor spaces, are flexible and can be personalised.
