Baglietto Navy, the military division of the famous La Spezia-based shipyard, took place in Euronaval 2024, the top European event dedicated to naval defence and maritime safety, running from Monday, 4 November to Thursday, 7 November, in Paris at the Nord-Villepinte event centre.

With a tradition of excellence in shipbuilding spanning 170 years, Baglietto Navy have decided to use the event as a strategic platform to reinforce their connections with international delegations and players in the military sector and to reveal some of their latest designs in naval defence.

Among these designs, created to satisfy the ever-changing needs of modern maritime security, are the LC Caiman, the 24-metre fast landing vessel developed in partnership with BMT, and the UFPV30, a 32-metre ultra fast patrol vessels designed in partnership with Victory Design.

The LC Caiman is in aluminium and was conceived to be a support for ship-to-shore operations in difficult environments. Capable of transporting soldiers, equipments, vehicles and supplies, this versatile vessel functions in both shallow waters and stormy seas, offering excellent tactical mobility in amphibious operations.

Instead, the UFPV30 is built using advanced composite materials and can reach a maximum speed of 65 knots, making it ideal for a wide range of naval missions. Its versatility makes it ideal for use as an offshore coastal patrol, rescues and high speed war manoeuvres with its incomparable agility.
