Cantieri di Pisa have announced that they have finished refitting works on two mega yachts, a 41-metre motoryacht built by Feadship in 1981, and a 43-metre sailing yacht built by Perini Navi in 2000. These latest deliveries, which were earlier than planned, cement the success of the shipyard’s refit division, which has completed work on over 30 vessels from different shipyards, of different kinds and sizes, and to which another 10 units will be added soon.
The Feadship motoryacht
Work on the 41 metre Feadship yacht consisted in restoring the metal hull and renewing on board equipment, starting with replacing the stabilisers, which are now electric. The refit on this yacht, owned by Vanucci Group Agenzie Marittime, has given it back its splendour and it is now ready for this season on the Mediterranean. The refit was divided into two parts: technical and aesthetic, and was completed by renewing the Class.
The Perini Navi sailing yacht
The 43-metre Perini Navi yacht, managed by Simonazzi Yachts, was a challenge for the shipyard, given the size and type of the vessel. After being dismasted in order to fit in the Canale dei Navicelli, it underwent some invasive work like complete revarnishing of the entire structure, including the masts. The work concluded with renewing the Class and now the yacht is ready to sail around the Mediterranean.
