The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 is about to open its doors, running from 9 to 14 September. In the well-known locations of Vieux Port and Port Canto, professionals and enthusiasts can discover over 710 vessels, and over 150 world premieres, from some of the most prestigious international shipyards. The 2025 edition of the French show, will offer a singular panorama for the boating industry, including sail boats, motoryachts, innovative equipment and premium services. We spoke to organiser, Sylvie Ernoult just a few days ago, who gave us more details.
IMPROVED EXHIBITION AREAS
Like in previous years, the Cannes Yachting Festival will be divided into three section, in order to make it easier for visitors and to promote each category of vessels and equipment associated with each one. For this edition, the sectors have been updated and strengthened.
In regards to the Vieux Port, visitors can admire around 360 new motor boats, single and multi-hull, rigid or semi rigid, with lengths between 12 and 45 metres. This will also include equipment and services connected with this segment. Along the piers, visitors can enjoy an area dedicated to tenders and another for engines. Of particular note is the “Power Cat Village”, with 24 catamarans along the Quai Max Laubeuf, and the equipment section located along the Pantiero.
Porto Canto sees the sailing segment with 125 new vessels, single and multi-hull, with an average length of around 17 metres. Visitors will also find an area dedicated to water toys and the Power Boat Marina, with 180 vessels under 13 metres. This area is also host to brokerage, with a selection of 45 used yachts, ranging between 25 and 55 metres. This new organisation allows visitors and exhibitors, who can walk around the entire Port Canto without interruptions, to have a better experience.
THE BEST OF ITALIAN BOATING
Around 670 exhibitors from all over the world will be awaiting professionals and enthusiasts. In this long list, Italy certainly stands out with 165 companies participating.
