Sustainability, innovation and an unmistakeable touch of glamour: with the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, the great boat show season officially begins. Until 14 September, 711 vessels ranging from 5 to 50 metres will create a beautiful display throughout the French boat show, along with 680 international exhibitors.
Here are some statistics: 358 motor vessels from 12 to 45 metres located in the beautiful Vieux Port, while in Port Canto visitors can admire 128 sailing vessels, the Power Boat Marina with 180 vessels up to 13 metres, and a dedicated area for Toys.
150 world premiers at the Cannes Yachting Festival
As usual, the French event is also an opportunity for many shipyards to present their latest models. This year an impressive 150 units will premier.
“The largest floating boat show in Europe – declares Sylvie Ernoult, director of the Cannes Yachting Festival – has now opened its doors! My team and I are very proud to have organised a show of this size, with over 710 vessels. As always, our main objective is to satisfying our clients, serve the boating industry and offer the best event possible to our visitors.”
Innovation, yes, but also care for the environment and sustainability are at the heart of the French event once again: the “Innovation Route” highlights, with green signs, those exhibitors presenting eco-efficient solutions aimed at improving the navigation experience.
