The Italian Sea Group brought, to the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, their new Picchiotti Gentleman 24m, the first yacht in a series with four different versions, 24, 33, 44 and 55 metres. Daily Nautica interviewed Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer for The Italian Sea Group, to find out more about the of this vessel’s strong points

Characteristics and performance

With superstructure and hull made completely in aluminium, the Picchiotti Gentleman 24m has a maximum width of 6.5 metres. Regarding performance, the yacht is equipped with two 35 kW MAN engines, allowing it to reach a cruising speed of 16 knots and a maximum speed of 19 knots. The Picchiotti Gentleman 24m has three cabins on the lower deck, while the lounge area and separate dining room are on the main deck. There is also an extensive outdoor dining area.

One of the most singular characteristics of the yacht – notes Gianmaria Costantino – is that it has a beach club with a fall-down balcony included, this allows for direct contact with the water.” The beach club also has a sofa that can be converted into a bed with all the comforts, including air conditioning and television, turning it into an additional cabin, allowing eight passengers to be accommodated in four cabins.

A tribute to tradition

The design was curated by Luca Dini Design & Architecture along with The Italian Sea Group and represents a tribute to the history and tradition of Italian boating. The style, sophisticated and elegant, has a harmonious and contemporary design with a superstructure made in wood with steel accents, reminiscent of a classic style.

The objective of the Gentleman design – explains Costantino to DN – is to carry on Picchiotti brand’s heritage, being one of the oldest brands in the industry, founded in 1575. The idea is to recreate this heritage through a vintage yacht, that, at the same time, uses the latest technology available on the market.

The Picchiotti gentleman 24m will also be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025 where The Italian Sea Group will also bring the new Admiral Giorgio Armani 72m, part of its Italian-made yacht collection, uniting tradition and innovation.
