Ferretti Group have announced a new model in the innovative and fast tender range made by the iconic Wally brand, the 43wallytender. In the wake of this winter, when it presented to the public the 48Wallytender X at the Miami Yacht Show, the shipyard decided to develop another tender.

Thanks to our stylistic heritage and the 25 years of constant research in innovating Wally – states Stefano di Vivo, managing director for Wally – the team has redesigned the central part of the vessel and its use, making a new concept for the central cockpit. We have once again been able to evolve our range to satisfy the owners of today and of tomorrow, elevating the standards for day boats.

Indeed, on board this extraordinary 13 metre boat, guests can enjoy the pleasure of being out in the open, with the safety and comfort that distinguishes a boat of a smaller size. Inspired by the typical elements of previous Wallytenders, the 43wallytender stands out for its versatility thanks to a flexible layout.

The result is a fast runabout, which is comfortable and practical, designed to be essential, simple to manoeuvre and perfect for different uses: day boat for families, tender for sailing and motor super yachts, or a support vessel for resorts.

The excellent handling, the impressive performance, large bathroom with separate shower room, the cabin with bed and wide selection of configurations for the upper deck, place the 43wallytender into an optimal slice of the market.

Thanks to the feedback from Wallytender owners, the design team has been able to better develop the characteristics of the vessel. The 13-metre boat therefore has all the strong points of its predecessors and is a watershed for the brand, inspired by the models that have made its history, like Wallytender, WallyOne and 47wallypower.

CONSTRUCTION AND CHARACTERISTICS

I am very proud of what we have created with the 43wallytender – explains Luca Bassani, chief designer and founder of Wally – where every element on board has a precise function, expressed in its pure simple and beautiful form. Developed by Wally and the technical Engineering Department of the Ferretti Group, the 43wallytender is built in advanced composite with carbon fibre in the newest Wally shipyard in  Forlì.

Certainly the strong point of this vessel is the original layout of the central cockpit which offers the pilot and passengers complete protection from the elements, especially at high speeds thanks to the glass windscreen that surrounds it on three sides and to the  T-top To improve visibility the anterior of the windscreen is a single piece of centrally rounded glass, with no mounts. Lastly, the comfortable lateral walkways guarantee safe access to the large sun deck on the bow.

The large area below deck, together with the collapsible walls which come standard, is ideal for welcoming guests, or for transporting the sails of a super yacht participating in a regatta, while, thanks to the dining table, the large seating area and the sun deck, the tender becomes the ideal boat for a day out on the sea.

The 43wallytender is equipped with a wide range of accessories, like the carbon fibre T-top, LED lighting on the deck, a retractable hydraulic anchoring system, collapsible walls to extend the living space on deck, just like in the 48wallytender, teak decking and  integrated wrap-around Wally fender.

The new tender is powered by two  Volvo Penta diesel 380 HP motors with stern drives and equipped with a joystick for manoeuvres but it can also be configured with two 440 HP engines, with a top speed of 40 knots. The 43wallytender will be previewed at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2020.
