CRN, the well-known shipyard part of the Ferretti Group, has delivered its latest true custom work of art in steel and aluminium, the super yacht, Rio. Icon of creativity and quality, the new 62-metre has left the Superyacht Yard in Ancona and is on its way to its owner, ready to sail for the first time in the warm waters of the Mediterranean.

The tense and fluid exterior hull design and the nearly vertical bow, express the dynamic and sporty personality of this yacht, completely custom made and of high artistry, standing out for its perfect balance between ample spaces inside and outside and a knowledgeable distribution and exploitation of the space.

Indeed, the M/Y Rio reflects the personality of its owner, a lover of life on board who has asked for large bright living areas both inside and outside to enjoy cruising with friends and family. The super yacht has 4 decks and has an owner’s suite, 5 passenger cabins, of which 2 are VIP (both full beam, one on the forward main deck and the other on the aft lower deck), and 3 other suites, able to comfortably house up to 12 guests.

The upper deck, reserved for the owner, has an ample oasis of intimacy and privacy, and can also be enjoyed socially. Large full length windows on the main deck and owner deck come together in a visual continuum that follows the elegant exterior architecture of the yacht, with beautiful plays of light and reflections as well as direct and constant contact with the water.

Rio was designed and built by CRN in close partnership with the design and architecture studio Omega Architects, for the exterior and with the design studio Pulina Exclusive Interiors for the interior. TWW Yachts represents the owner and TWW Yacht Management supplied technical consultancy, supervising project management activities and inspection throughout the final phases of construction.

The 62-metre superyacht will make its world premier début at the next Monaco Yacht Show, from 28 September to 1 October, where it will be one of the stars of the event as a splendid example of the artistry, know-how and design and construction quality of the Ancona shipyard. Exclusively through TWW Yachts, the yacht will be available for charter in the Mediterranean this summer and in the Caribbean starting in October. Currently CRN is building another 4 fully custom yachts of 72, 67 and 52 metres.
