Azimut Yachts has proven, once again that it is a pioneer in innovation for the boating industry by winning the Best Innovative Yacht Brand award at the Best of the Best Awards 2025, awarded by Hurun Research Institute based on the results of the Hurun Chinese Luxury Consumer Survey. This award, which Azimut had also previously received, celebrates the continuous research carried out by the Italian shipyard for front-line solutions offering a unique sailing experience to yacht owners.

In addition, the Seadeck 7 received the Luxury Hybrid Yacht Best New Arrival award for the revolutionary impact it had on the market. The first series yacht to integrate a hybrid-electric system with Volvo Penta’s IPS propulsion, this model reduces emission of CO2 by up to 40% over a year of average use, providing a concrete alternative for yacht owners who want a sustainable vessel but without renouncing comfort and performance.

With this dual success at the Best of the Best Awards, Azimut cements its role as a point of reference for the luxury boating segment and strengthens its presence in China, where, since 2006, the company has delivered around 200 vessels. An achievement that underlines the success of the brand and its skill in anticipating market trends, taking the lead in creating a more innovative and sustainable future.

The Seadeck 7

Forged through Azimut’s partnership with Alberto Mancini, who curated the exterior design, and Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, who curated the interior, the Seadeck series represents the union of the best solutions available today to reduce consumption and CO2 emissions allowing a careful owner to reduce emissions by up to 40% a year with average use compared to vessels of similar weight and size with lineshaft transmission and a traditional hull.

-30% is thanks to the naval architecture of the yacht, which integrates extensive use of carbon fibre to lighten the structure and with highly efficient hull shape and propulsion, while the remaining -10% comes from the hybrid architecture and the most innovative technology available in electrification. The Full Hybrid system installed on the Seadeck 7 opens new frontiers, making available, for the first time, the benefits of electrification on mid-sized family friendly motor yachts.

A central element to the design of the Seadeck 7 is the Fun Island, a reinterpretation of the aft cockpit (created by Mancini) which transforms this area into a terrace that embraces the water, eliminating all barriers with the seascape providing a wellbeing experience based on a deep connection with nature. Even when choosing materials, Azimut wanted to replicate this informed choice, opting for natural, recycled and recyclable materials used for the interior, introducing a new language in the yachting world.
