ICE Yachts have completed their final launch of 2023, with the ICE 54 “Nonna Lucia”, the 18th unit of the now consolidated range of 52 to 54 foot vessels. Built in partnership with Felci Design, this latest masterpiece by the Salvirola-based shipyard was launched in Varazze, with the help of cranes belonging to Cantieri Mostes.

With its quality build and use of innovative materials, the ICE 54 is a fast cruiser created for owners who are passionate and skilled and are looking for excitement at the helm, perfect for both cruising and competition. Its design is derived from the ICE 52, reinterpreting all the qualities that made that vessel a success, but modifying some of the characteristics to increase comfort and liveability.

Indeed the vessel’s freeboard is 6 centimetres wider and the hull length has been increased by nearly 2 feet, elements allowing for more interior space in a unit of this size. The scimitar-shaped bow and the upturned stern, a trademark of the brand, derive directly from the racer, ICE 33.

Lastly, from a hydrodynamic profile, the water line and appendages promise excellent performance, both in travelling upwind at a tight angle, and planing at high speed, thanks to its maximum beam of 4.65 metres and the flat and powerful sections of the stern.

INTERIORS

One of the strengths of the ICE 54 are the interiors, spacious and comfortable, available in various layouts and standing out through their infinitely detailed finishings.  The ample size of the owner’s cabin to the bow, allows space for an extra large bed, easily accessible from both sides, while to the stern, the generous spaces allow for the addition of an extra large sized bathroom (with separate shower stall) serving the two twin guest cabins.

Particular attention has been paid to the layout of the kitchen, which is truly innovative and modern, complete with a convenient and modern island, creating continuity with the dinette and equipped with a dishwasher and ample counter space, as well as a large fridge similar to the ones at home. The kitchen thereby becomes a space full of details, aesthetically pleasing, yet functional.
