CRN has revealed further details and shared images of its CRN M/Y 142, the 142 hull currently being built in the Ancona shipyard.
The yacht, built completely in aluminium, has been designed by CRN in partnership with the design and architecture studio Omega Architects, who created its tense yet harmonious exterior, and with the architecture studio Massari Design, which curated the large and luminous interior. And so this tailored design has been created putting at the heart of its construction the exterior environment, enhancing its continuity and connection with the interior.
The new true custom yacht has a gross tonnage of 499, a length of 52 metres, a beam of 9 metres and can hold up to 10 passengers over its 4 decks. It is a dynamic and sporty piece, inspired by the balance of spaces, with large living areas both inside and outside with their harmonious symmetry, connected so as to create a perceptional and functional fusion between the indoors and outdoors.
CRN M/Y 142 reflects the personality of an expert owner with a passion for the sea who specifically requested comfortable spaces “en plein air” with careful attention paid to the design of social areas. The exterior areas, like the 2 lounges with solarium and spa pool located both on the Sun Deck and Main Deck and the ample “alfresco” dining area on the Upper Deck have been created as versatile and sociable spaces in order to fully enjoy the fresh air.
The interiors are welcoming and reveal a contemporary view on living that blends together refined simplicity and clean formality. Comfort is enhanced by sophisticated detail in an alternation of warm and natural hues that perfectly harmonise with prized materials like marble, leather and essences.
The Main Deck is home to an elegant and bright open space with a welcoming living and dining area, where the perceptual continuum between indoors and out is emphasised by the large full-length windows, interspersed with mirrored surfaces creating a play of light and perspective, surrounding passengers with spectacular sea views. The room is connected to an exterior lounge with a relaxation and conversation area, overlooking the rectangular spa pool extending across the stern. On the forward part of the deck is the owner’s suite, a private and intimate refuge illuminated by full length windows also covering the owner’s private study.
The spaces flow and are flexible on the Upper Deck as well, where a panoramic room can be used for socialising or converted into a proper cinema thanks to a big screen TV. The room opens out completely to the outdoors thanks to sliding glass doors allowing direct access to the alfresco dining area, to be enjoyed at any time during the day as it is sheltered by integrated transparent glass placed so as to protect the space from the wind.
Part of the sporty and streamlined profile of this 52-metre yacht, the Sun Deck is a multifunctional space, ideal both for evening entertainment and relaxing in the sun during the day. At the middle of the deck, a spectacular horseshoe-shaped lounge-bar separates the dining area, extending over a large terrace, from the solarium with its round hot tub to the bow.
The beach club on the Lower Deck is characterised by a spacious and polifunctional leisure area: an extensive terrace at the water’s edge allowing passengers to jump directly into the water and enjoy water sports thanks to the many toys available. The space is integrated with an open air living area including a relaxation area with a TV and a bar overlooking the wellbeing area, an oasis of peace for regenerating with a hammam and sensory shower.
CRN M/Y 142, whose launch is planned for spring 2022, is a masterpiece of boating art that brings together the highest level of artistry and knowledge in Italy with a profound skill in design and construction.
