Daily Nautica spoke with Stefano Tositti, CEO and Chairman of Acquera, about the brand’s tailor-made services and its growth
Acquera Yachting, a company providing services to yachts over 30 metres, participated in the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, presenting their services, including, in particular, their concierge service providing owners with tailored services. Daily Nautica interviewed Stefano Tositti, Chairman and CEO of the brand.
Acquera’s services
Acquera Yachting, which represents one of the two divisions of the Acquera Group, was founded in 2018 through an organic growth process and acquisition, and now has around 150 employees over 22 countries, from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. They work seasonally in some geographical areas, and year round in others through refitting and repair services which are done in winter.
“Company activities – explains Stefano Tositti to Daily Nautica – come under the definition of ‘Yacht Agency’, which includes reserving mooring spaces, managing paperwork and all accessory maritime agency activities regarding support. In addition it also provides extensive concierge services. What makes Acquera stand out from traditional agencies is the part where we organise the client’s free time, which requires a lot of care and experience from a technical and operative point of view.”
A group in expansion
Acquera Yachting, which has 8 offices in the Caribbean, is focusing on strengthening its presence in this strategic area. At the same time, they are consolidating their presence in key countries in the Mediterranean, while also looking at other areas such as Europe and the United States. Growing and reinforcing the brand’s international position is achieved through its continuing work on staff training, and in particular, in training the younger generation.
“Over time – says Tositti – we have trained a number of managers that create the base of the group and follow its philosophy, but we are always looking for new talent that wants to take on new challenges. Our sector is fascinating, but behind that is a lot of hard work in both preparation and management, and requires effort, sacrifice and passion. This is the challenge we are working on: we have a dedicated facility for research and training and to attract and train new talent that wants to work in the sector, giving the company new, younger blood, as it is in a phase of growth.”
