Tailored coaching, hands-on training, and expert guidance: Yacht Pro Hub empowers owners to master every aspect of their yacht, from maintenance to navigation.
For the past five years, Yacht Pro Hub has been based at Marina di Scarlino in Tuscany, with the aim of giving yacht owners practical tools to better understand and manage modern boats. Founded by Andrea Giorgetti and others, the project was created to address an increasingly evident gap: boats that are technologically advanced and easy to sail, but far more complex when it comes to maintenance and diagnosing onboard systems.
“Over the years we’ve realised that many owners are excellent at handling their boats, but often don’t know how to deal with technical systems when something stops working,” Giorgetti explains. “Our job is to provide practical tools and concrete knowledge, making boat management safer and more informed.”
Delivery, coaching and technical support
Yacht Pro Hub’s activities revolve around three pillars: delivery, personalised coaching, and technical support. Delivery sits at the heart of the project: the team handles boat transfers on behalf of owners, allowing them to enjoy their boat in the right place at the right time without having to deal with the logistics of long passages.
“Many owners want to enjoy their boat at weekends or during holidays, but cannot always manage long or complex delivery,” says Giorgetti. “Knowing the boat is already waiting for them in the right spot makes a real difference.”
At present, four members of the team are involved in ocean and coastal passages: Atlantic crossings, routes between the Bahamas and the Caribbean, returns to the Mediterranean, and even a transfer towards the Pacific.
Alongside delivery, Yacht Pro Hub offers continuous technical support: the team carries out regular checks on the boat and its systems, highlights any issues, and coordinates work with specialist technicians when required. The monitoring covers every aspect — from sails to deck, bilges to anti-corrosion treatments — with the aim of preventing problems and planning maintenance effectively.
“We want owners never to be caught unprepared,” Giorgetti stresses. “Understanding how onboard systems work allows them to act before a small issue becomes a major complication.”
Thanks to the team’s experience — a group of former owners and professionals with thousands of miles behind them — Yacht Pro Hub also serves as a bridge between owners, technicians, yards and designers, a role that becomes invaluable during refits and new builds.
Coaching and hands-on training
The third area of focus is coaching: tailored onboard training programmes for the owner and, if requested, for the crew. The aim is to deepen knowledge of the boat, improve handling and manoeuvres, and increase confidence at sea.
“Coaching isn’t just theory,” says Giorgetti. “It’s real, hands-on experience. Owners learn to read and understand their boat, and to sail it in a safer and more considered way.”
Learning Experience 2026
In parallel with its personalised services, Yacht Pro Hub also offers its Learning Experiences, a series of theory-and-practice modules dedicated to the main onboard systems. Topics include masts and rigging, electrical systems, marine engines, splicing, and meteorology.
Mast courses examine geometries and loads, while the electrical modules look at ageing systems, questionable wiring and real cases brought by owners through photos and videos — practical approaches that can be applied immediately.
The 2026 programme features a full calendar, with modules repeated several times throughout the year to support continuous learning. In addition to technical courses on deck hardware, electrical systems and engines, there will be sessions dedicated to meteorology applied to navigation.
Knowledge for better sailing
Yacht Pro Hub continues to establish itself as a key reference point for technical and practical training dedicated to yacht owners. Understanding one’s boat does not only improve safety on board — it also allows for more informed decisions on maintenance, refits and long-term management, at a time when boats are becoming ever more complex.
“In a world of increasingly automated boats,” Giorgetti concludes, “true freedom at sea comes from knowledge. Understanding your boat means sailing with greater confidence, calm, and readiness for whatever may arise.”
