F.lli Razeto & Casareto is humming: they have just released EUREK-ART, an exclusive collection of ship handles, completely designed and handmade by Giangi Razeto. This new range will be exclusively presented on Friday 19 September at 15:00 during the Genova Boat Show, at the company’s stand (Pavilion B, Stand TN20-TNTP19)
To launch the collection, a singular and evocative display has been created: eight photographs by our team member, Claudio Colombo, taken from his exhibition, “Il respiro del mare” [Breath of the Sea], will visually dialogue with eigh EUREK-ART handles, hanging one in front of the other. A poetic encounter between visual art and nautical design capable of creating deel emotions and sensations.
EUREK-ART is the perfect encapsulation of a hundred years of tradition, research and innovation. In this collection, boating hardware transforms into an artistic, cultural and symbolic expression. The handles stem from classic models, but are treated like pieces of art: a blank canvas, or a block of marble waiting to be sculpted.
Through artistic techniques like grinding, fire, hammering and oxidisation, the surface is transformed, acquiring a unique personality making it a piece of art for all effects and purposes.
Claudio Colombo’s images, taken in the Maldives, complete the visual story of the collection, giving observers an all-encompassing feeling: the real and enveloping sense of the sea. With EUREK-ART, F.lli Razeto & Casareto are cementing their role as partners of excellence in luxury boating, and pushing the envelope, yet again, in design.
