A container ship capsized while it was anchor, losing part of its cargo already on board during loading operations. The accident, which luckily had no injuries, caused severe damages and took place in Indonesia.

When it capsized, the Mentari Crystal cargo vessel, docked at the Teluk Lamong terminal, in Surabaya, in the East Java region, was loading containers.

The early hypothesis from investigations carried out by the local authority, show that the cargo may have been unstable, possibly because it was not arranged correctly, so that part of the 137 containers already on board ended up in the water. In a few short hours, the video went viral online, shared around the world.
