Azimut will be among the participants of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, from 12 to 17 September, with a number of different models on display, two of which are world premiers: the Magellano 60, a crossover with a timeless design and contemporary accents, and the Verve 48, the new outboard for speed lovers.

AZIMUT MAGELLANO 60

The Magellano 60, a crossover created for owners who love long cruises full of adventure and charm, stands out for its onboard spaces, ample without compromising the elegant design. In addition, the natural extension of the Main Deck to the cockpit transforms the stern into a waterfront terrace, offering, thanks to its transparent gunwale, a full connection with the water.

Ken Freivokh’s hand is visible in the clean lines that define the yacht, with its horizontal features and more contemporary style when compared to other models in the same family, all while keeping the timeless elegance that makes the series stand out. The crossover nature of the Magellano 60 can also be seen in its high efficiency Dual Mode semi-planing hull, allowing the boat to navigate comfortably at low speeds and to handle more sustained speeds reducing the impact of the waves, consumption and emissions.

It is also the model chosen by Azimut to use HVOlution biofuel, produced by Eni Sustainable Mobility using 100% renewable sources. Tests carried out in summer 2023 have shown very satisfying results in terms of compatibility and performance: the combination of the Dual Mode hull and biofuel led to a reduction of well-to-wake CO2 emissions of over 80% compared to a yacht of similar size using fossil fuels.

AZIMUT VERVE 48

The new Verve 48 is a sport weekender designed by Azimut in partnership with Francesco Struglia, who designed the exterior and interior. The stern is completely new, larger and integrated, with two ladders for easy access to the water, while to the left is the wider swim platform: these two elements create a single extensive area over the water, providing even closer contact with the water.

Its powerful and agile nature is freed through its three Mercury V12 600 HP engines, allowing it to travel at up to 50 knots while also improving efficiency even further, reducing fuel consumption by 15%. Even noise is reduced by up to 10 decibels compared to the previous 47, something which can be appreciated from the moment one comes on board and turns on the engine.

Thanks to geometry and space optimisation, the layout of the cockpit guarantees a social or sporty experience depending on the mood, while the new hardtop, sleek and welcoming, also included a tempered glass insert which, in addition to lightening the structure, allows light and air to flow when in roads.

AZIMUT S7

Among the other vessels of the Azimut fleet present at the French Boat Show is also the S7, in the water for the first time. The latest in the S Series, it premiered at the Düsseldorf Boot 2023, this model is a 22-metre motoryacht with a sporty and sustainable soul.

Through a partnership between yacht designer Alberto Mancini and creative boutique Yachtique, the S7 is part of Azimut’s Low Emission Yacht family: advanced naval architecture, together with extremely efficient propulsion using 3 Volvo IPS engines and the streamlined hill designed in partnership with P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture reduces consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 30% at average speed, compared to other vessels of the same weight and size with a traditional lineshaft hull. Azumut will be at stand JETEE006 – PALAIS082 during the Cannes Yachting Festival.
