F.lli Razeto & Casareto returns to for the 35th year to the Amsterdam event to present their latest, a combination of innovation and artistry
Thirty-five consecutive editions at theMetstrade in Amsterdam: a record that weaves itself into the hundred-year history of F.lli Razeto & Casareto, based in Sori and now a point of reference for visitors and professionals coming to this international event dedicated to accessories and nautical subcontracting. The new collection of handles created by the Ligurian brand celebrates the marriage of artisan knowledge with design innovation, showcasing them through their three key words iconicity, lightness and transformation.
Oblò: iconicity

The idea of iconicity takes shape in the Oblò handle, designed by Bernardo Zuccon, it is inspired by boating culture and functional elegance: its silhouette, geometrically pure and simple, reflects its namesake, a porthole, a boating archetype and part of the collective imagination.
Simple yet recognizable, it received an award from the German Design Council’s Iconic Awards for quality, design research and innovative production. But also for its skill in turning a part of daily life into a distinctive and recognizable trait, not just graphically, but also through the material used (aluminium alloy with ESI antimicrobial treatment), as well as LED backlighting.
Chrissie: the handle for sailing

Lightness is translated into the Chrissie handle, designed by Christophe Chedal Anglay. Designed especially for racing boats, where weight reduction is crucial, this is an expression of simplicity as a perfect harmony of form and function. The clean and aerodynamic design adapt to different contexts on board, combining ergonomics and aesthetics.
The Eurekart collection: transformation and sustainability

The third key word chosen by F.lli Razeto & Casareto is transformation, expressed in the Eurekart collection, created by Giangi Razeto. The star is the material, a laminated FSC certified multi-layered birch (sourced from responsibly managed forests). Watercolours and eco-compatible resins turn the wood’s natural layers into art, highlighting the tones and giving the feeling of the North American landscape. Each handle, therefore becomes a unique piece, created from a dialogue between nature and technology. And by the company’s commitment to sustainability.
F.lli Razeto & Casareto between history and the future
Yet again the Metstrade is the ideal stage for F.lli Razeto & Casareto, showcasing how a hundred years of history can dialogue with the future through design innovation, culture and a strong identity.
